(9 miles/25 minute drive) The dining room at the Simon Pearce is simply amazing. It's worth dining there for the views alone. They serve American cuisine, with local ingredients, against the backdrop of the Ottauquechee River waterfall and covered bridge. It is a go-to for special occasions and…
A fun place to visit if you are up in the Woodstock area. Watch glassblowing artisans at work, and shop for one-of-a-kind glassware and pottery souvenirs at the store. Then enjoy drinks and dinner at the award-winning farm-to-table restaurant that overlooks the Ottauquechee River and covered…
Visit the wonderful Simon Pearce Mill where you can observe glassblowers working, shop handcrafted objects, and dine in an idyllic setting. Glassblowing is open to the public at no charge and reservations are required for the restaurant.

“Hiking and swimming spots available in the state park, small shops around the bridge and beautiful view of the gorge. Beautiful year round, but peak foliage season in early October is arguably the most scenic. ”
