Located at mile 13 of Denali's Park Road, Mountian Vista Trail is a great place to enjoy a picnic or stretch your legs. The Picnic area includes about 2-miles of wide, compact gravel trails, and informational signs- all of which are ADA accessible. And Yes you can see the mountain from here on a clear day! :)

The Mountain Vista Rest Area (Mile 13 Denali Park Rd.) and the Savage River area (Mile 15 Denali Park Rd.) are both wonderful areas for hiking, having a picnic, and enjoying the sights. You can drive your personal vehicle to Mile 15 Park Rd. and after that you have to be on a bus. The Park Rd. to Mile 15 is open 24/7 so get out and enjoy the gorgeous scenery no matter what the time.
