The best pizza in the middle of City Market downtown. (they have a great salad too). Near any and everything you would want to do.

Long considered one of Savannah's best pizza restaurants, Vinnie Van Go-Go's in City Market is a popular destination among both locals and tourists alike. The restaurant's thin and hearty crust Neopolitan-style pizzas can be ordered whole or by the slice. Sit out side, order a beer and a pizza, and watch the bustle of City Market like a local.

This is the only spot downtown worthy of your business if you are looking for pizza. It is in the City Market (which is a tourist trap, mostly), but their delicious, cash-only pies are worth battling the crowds.
