used to be a church, it became a worship place for all major religion in indonesia. we can enjoy the beautiful scenery with borobudur temple at the base. getting famous after AADC movie. btw, it should be called as a dove, not a chicken.

[A vision from th God] Chicken Church' built in the jungle by Alamsjah who had 'a vision from God' in 1988 to build a 'prayer house' a top of the hill. Chicken Church(=Bukit Rhema or Gereja Ayam) surrounded by 9 of Mountains is a great place for religious tour& nature tourism for beautiful sunrise at the crown of chicken church. Also It's a great place for the coffee with beautiful view in Borobudur. 📌Chicken Church: 5km away from JB *Open: 05:30~17:00 *Enterance fee: Foreigner Rp30,000/Local Rp 20,000 *Tip: You need to walk from parking area for a while. Or You can take a Jeep till Church with Rp 7,000/pax.

It is a great place to see sunrise nearby Borobudur temple. The morning sunrise just so amazing at the top of the pigeon's crown.
