Personally, this is my favorite restaurant in Rijeka. Here you can eat Croatian food. Also, restaurant is vegetarian friendly, and it have vegan options, as well as gluten free options. The restaurant is in a suburban area, follow the signs from Trsat, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the bus station, or the castle and church. It is definitely worth the walk if you don't have a car ;)

Great restaurant for meat dishes! You can enjoy the tavern atmosphere and it is as well relatively close to flat.
