plenty of open green space, sandy beach and giant lake, surrounded by hiking trails, picnic tables with bbq access, volley ball and soccer nets as well as basketball courts and a shady pavillion- this place has something for everyone in your group. Be sure to keep your head up for the eagles that nest around the lake and the beaver that lives along the shores. A true treasure in Maplecrest.

Best secret swimming place. If you go down to the roundabout and follow the trail down to the water there is a private ish swimming area. Its better than the beach area, deeper, cleaner, more secluded. Also great place for kayaking, canoeing, and Frisbee. We bike there frequently with the dog. Works for all ages.
