Warum Einheimische es empfehlen
Who doesn't love a chocolate café? This is chocolate heaven. The space is welcoming, beautiful and educational for those interested in learning how beans become bars. The decadent and rich Dulce de Leche Bar is layered with creamy caramel, graham crust and chocolate ganache that work really well together. Dandelion also offers free marshmallows and chocolate samples. It gets very popular around 8pm on the weekdays, so it's best to go before then.

Small-batch chocolatier offering handmade candy bars & brownies, cocoa beans & educational classes. Their European-style hot chocolate is heavenly good! They also has a factory location on 16th street, 15 minutes walk from there and offers tour and special event there. Check it out!
A MUST for the chocolate lover! They even have a smoothie made from cacao fruit. Divine.
Local San Francisco chocolate maker. Fun place to visit and taste chocolate and/or see how its made. Book way ahead to do a tasting or a tour, but you can just stop by the store if you want to just grab a bar to go.
Like an “artisanal Willy Wonka's”, this “phenomenal” Mission chocolatier and cafe's “small-scale” production of “high-quality chocolate” (on view in the back) winds up in “mind-blowing” brownie flights, hot or cold “drinkables”and “delectable” pastries; the setting’s typically “low-key” and it's…
9 blocks down Valencia Street. Excellent chocolate candies make special gifts to take home for friends. Delicious chocolate drinks.

““Everything is so delicious” at this “cute” Mission fromagerie – from the “exceptional” American cheeses to the “awesome” pressed sandwiches to the “amazing” mac 'n' cheese – and the staff is “super-knowledgeable” about wine pairings, too; while “compact”, it's “low-key” enough that “you can actually hear yourself” and “they get extra points” for sidewalk seating; P.S. “go for the Monger's Choice if you're feeling adventuresome.””

“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”

“Great brunch spot. Try their Meyer Lemon Morning Bun, or The Rebel Within (make sure to ask the staff to heat it!).”

“Stop by here on your way to and back from Dolores Park for some of the best ice cream this city has to offer. Try the Salted Caramel!”
