This ain’t your tacos and burritos Mexican restaurant. What makes Paloma place stand out, besides the great cocktails, is the cozy ambiance and fresh ingredients. Did I mention that everything is made from scratch, including the tortillas?

For a nice meal and truly the world’s best margarita, do not miss Paloma. Owner Marja Martin has cultivated a dangerously good menu and now we’re sotol fiends because of their extensive Mexican spirit list. She took her whole staff to Oaxaca this year to explore and learn and that’s the kind of…

“Dolina stands out as a jewel in Santa Fe's restaurant scene. Not at all fancy, this is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with a huge emphasis on healthy made-from-scratch cooking. When the owner's mom came to visit from the old country, she was quickly put to work cooking soup at Dolina. You can also try some baked goods (made in house) that you've probably never heard of before.”

“New Mexican at it’s best! Both green and red chile are delicious. Good fresh margaritas. Fun, colorful décor. One of the most popular spots in Santa Fe. Always a wait, but it can go quicker if you sign up for bar seating. Ask the host.”

“Excellent, local donuts -- classic and New Mexican flavors like blue corn blueberry and biscochitos (our favorites). Good hot drinks too! (A couple stores down from Whole Foods, so you can park at Whole Foods and walk here.)”

“You can thank our friend Ayanna for forcing us to try this local champagne. We’re not bubbly alcohol people, but you have to be open to things in New Mexico or you’ll be kicked out. Glad we did! They have a tasting room off the plaza. Bring your friends or your enemies! ”
