A 1/2 hour drive to beautiful New Norfolk is well worth it with the Agrarian Kitchen at the other end.

This new eatery run by Rodney Dunn and his professional team at Agrarian Kitchen has received rave reviews. Good idea to book. It is a 30-40 minute drive from Hobart. I like the way they have preserved some of the original fittings. It is at the higher end of budget dining.

Well renowned restaurant in New Norfolk (approx. 30 min drive) that truly embodies the paddock to plate principles. Worth the drive through classic Tasmanian alongside the Derwent River.

Rodney and Severine are lovely people and quite simply put Tasmania on the map with their cooking school 10 or more years ago: they opened this about 3 years ago; Local produce superbly well cooked.Booking vital. Degustation lunch absolutely superb.
