This tract of shoreland along Lake Huron, part of which is dominated by a beaver swamp, has a good beach for swimming. Park Facilities and Activities A parking lot and toilets are the only visitor facilities. Swimming and beach use are the main activities.

Best beach around! 1.5km's down the road from the cottage. Gradual entry, warmer calm water, family friendly fun!

This is a great place to swim in the summer on the Lake Huron side. It has a sandy beach and usually isn't too crowded. There is lots of parking spaces. It is 23 km from our cottage.

Black Creek Provincial Park ( or as the locals call it , Sandy Beach) is a family friendly sand beach on the warm waters of Lake Huron . Just a 15 minute drive from Lions Head along Stokes Bay Rd. Plan to pack your picnic and plan to stay for the afternoon and witness the breathtaking sunset view of Lake Huron.
