A must visit. An amazing palace surrounded by gardens. The cost for renting a boat for 4 persons (duration about 30 minutes) was only 5 euro! You had the feeling that you live in a past era.

Plaza de España y Parque de Maria Luisa (25 min.) One of the most spectacular works of the Spanish panorama, work of the architect Aníbal González for the Ibero-American Exhibition. We speak of a monumental Mudéjar style, decorated with exposed brick, marble and ceramics, which give a Renaissance touch, and the baroque touch of the two towers located at the sides. This combination of styles does not surprise that it has been scene of famous films like: Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and The dictator.

It is a magical place with its huge building painted tile decoration and its waterways and little bridges. There is also the beautiful "Maria Luisa" park with its benches, fountains and pathways among trees and flowers.
