TAVERN ON THE HILL is a seasonal outdoor canteen, patio and coffee + ice cream shop located at the North end of Major's Hill Park. Their gourmet hot-dogs, and drinks can be enjoyed on their huge outdoor terrace while taking in the most amazing views of the Parliament Buildings, Chateau Laurier, the Supreme Court, the Ottawa river, the Notre-Dame Basilica, and the National Gallery of Canada. Wonderful views of the Ottawa river set in gorgeous Major's Hill's park, a stone's throw from the Byward market, National Gallery and the Museum of Civilization. Mainly a bar with gourmet hotdogs.
