Want to see what your off road vehicle can do? The OHV trail system is about 30 minutes north of downtown Morganton. You will need to buy a pass at the one of the local gas stations (look for "OHV passes sold here") or the convenience store right in front of the entrance.

The Brown Mountain OHV (off-highway vehicle) area, the only OHV area in the Pisgah National Forest, offers 34 miles of designated trails. Signs are located at the head of each trail section. These trails are mostly designed for trail bikes and ATVs. *Call ahead as pass purchases may be required
