Perfect crystal clear waters. The beach has 2 places with one of them relatively secluded. Calm from people especially on weekdays. It is also a good starting point for the nearby beaches of the E4 trail.

Krios a beach around 7km from paleochora. It’s not a long ride. It’s a beach with two parts one in front under the canteen and one behind the rock like a private beautiful beach. I personally like this beach the most because it’s quite and the water is so crystal clear! You can find sun beds and umbrellas and also enjoy a snack at the local canteen! Definitely a must.

The beach of Krios is located about 10km west of Paleochora and 90km south of Chania city, on the east side of Krios Cape. It is a lovely secluded beach about 1km long, which is divided into three consecutive bays with fine pebbles and coarse sand.
