If you want to meet the locals, The Creamery is the place and every Wednesday nights they offer open mic and a lively little three man band

“This is one of those breweries tucked in the Vermont hills that you won't want to miss. Great small batch brews and great atmosphere in someone's backyard barn. Check their facebook page for any live bands and food trucks that may be joining the scene. Only open on Friday (5-8pm) and Saturday (3-7pm) evenings, so get in there while you can!”

A monument of the 19th century belief in learning, the Athenaeum was founded by Horace Fairbanks as a culture center for the town - a true "athenaeum," providing a free public library and art gallery, as well as a host for numerous educational events. ”
