Watson Lake is beautiful and unique. You can do so many things here. You can hike, bike, canoe, kayak, and picnic. There is a short hike there to a waterfall. Easy and kid friendly. There is also a nice playground for the kiddos. My sister got married here and our church holds Easter services here. It is very special.

This is a little further than Goldwater, but only three more minutes. This is my favorite lake in the area. My kids climb on all the boulders and love it here. There is a big wide open park too. You could spend all day here relaxing if you wanted to. There is a disc golf area here too, but I haven't played it yet.

Depending on the season and the light, the granite formations at Arizona’s Watson Lake can glow a ruddy brick-red color, a delicate salmon pink, or a rich tan.
