The top most post-card beach. No hotels, just nature! However beware of the waves they are too high for most swimmers and definitely not for kids

Long stretch of white sand beach & crystal blue water. I just enjoy myself every time here. The water can be too rough for children some days though. No bathrooms, just the portable kind. Also no showers so bring a few gallons of warm tap water to leave in your car for a warm shower after. You’ll…

Beautiful beach on the South Shore near Kihei. Several public parking areas, easy access, lots of sand. This is the grand finale of the south shore expanse of beautiful beaches. Not to be missed

One of our favorite beaches on Maui, great sand, great surf, plenty of room to roam. Two nice parking areas, plus lifeguards too.

“This is a great way to see the crater at a magnificent time of day. You’ll wake up in the middle of the night to Paia and get driven to the top of Haleakala where you’ll find a perfect spot to stand and get ready for the golden light. Maui Sun Riders gives you the freedom to make your way down the crater at your own speed – setting you off on your own ahead of the guided groups that go down together with a leader. You’ll want to pack warmer gear for this, as it’s quite cold up there at 10,000ft. when you’re waiting in the dark for the sun to rise!”
