We've all seen the movie Tombstone. Well Doc Holliday was buried here in Glenwood Springs, and there is a short hike right from town that takes you up to his grave.

This is a short hike (about 1/4 mile) that takes you to Linwood Cemetery where Doc Holliday is supposedly buried. It's a beautiful spot, and you get a good view of Glenwood Springs from here. The cemetery is full of old graves that are interesting to look at. Around Halloween every year, the Historical Society puts on a ghost tour over several weekends. Local people dress up as historical characters and tell you their story. It's a fun and interesting event if you're here in October.
