Moseley Bog was the childhood playground of The Lord of the Rings author JRR Tolkien, who lived nearby. The site inspired the 'old forest' in his books The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings. People come from all over the world to discover his inspiration for themselves.

JRR Tolkien used to play there are a boy - maybe you will get inspired to write an epic fantasy trilogy there too.

Weird little nature reserve with walkways through the forest makes a good walk for an hour. Said to have been an inspiration for Tolkien as he describes Fanghorn Forest, but you'll have to make your own mind up.
