We love this little Japanese restaurant set in Restaurant road, Jhamsikhel. Dan Ran has a friendly green garden and serves tasty Japanese home cooking. The sushi there are not the best option (for best sushi, make sure to go to Kotetsu in Lazimpat, inside the Ambassador Hotel) but the Bento boxes for lunch are great!
