There are a few good things suitable for vegans here, but this place is really all about meat. Salted, smoked, pickled, it's all here. Charcuterie plates, huge savory sandwiches, a big selection of sodas, wine and beer, big back yard with picnic tables as well as an inside room with a bar, jukebox and non-digital pinball machines. Try the Ponyboy; Italian pulled pork, provolone and braised greens on hoagie roll. If you want a look at alt.Oakland, the clientele here is a great place to start.
