Historic theater in the heart of Vancouver. Independently owned, this charming theater was built in the 1930s and shows a mix of independent films, live shows and community oriented programming. Make sure to visit the Marquee Lounge up stairs to grab a beer, wine or cider for your movie.

“Great Italian eatery. They have good handmade pasta and the charcuterie selection makes for a great afternoon sandwich.”

Park
“This park is great for jogging, picnics, and lounging on the beach. Located right on the Columbia River, you can see Sauvie Island, OR, right across the way, and maybe even see a fisherman or two catch a salmon or steelhead. There is a lot of wildlife here, from blue herons to snakes, rabbits, and even a coyote! People ride their horses out there, so that can be a delight, too. There is a 5 mile trail that connects Frenchman's to Vancouver Lake, so joggers always take advantage of that. There is a $3 parking fee, but the pass is good all day and can be used at the other county parks (Klineline Pond/Salmon Creek Park, Vancouver Lake, and Lewisville Park). ”

Park
“The green space located in downtown Vancouver is the oldest public square in the entire state. Created in 1853, it’s overseen by the 69-foot Salmon Run Bell Tower, which is home to 35 cast bronze bells chiming every 15 minutes, from the morning hours to later in the evening. This great little park is very near several hotels, so you can easily walk there, and you may even catch the farmers market if you’re lucky to be there on the right days.”
