Ideal spot for a picnic. Just down from the lake is Obi Obi creek, a well kept jewel of the hinterland. Beautiful quiet smimming spot and access point to Great Walks of Queensland Trails.

Great place for a peaceful kayak, swim or walk. Great facilities with gas BBQ's and shaded eating areas, toilets and a small playground for kids, very pretty views - only a few minutes down the road from the Nunyara Treehouse.

Walk run or drive its just 3klms to the Sunshine coasts water catchment dam 'Baroon Pocket' take a picnic or if your keen you can swim off the beach
