St. Louis has many beautiful parks but Tower Grove has to be at the top of the list. So much to see and do.
Best Park in Saint Louis! Check out their smaller more locally focused Pride too. Tower Grove Pride on Facebook.
Tower Grove Park was donated to St Louis by Henry Shaw in 1868. The park is 289 acres and is the second largest park in St. Louis. This park showcases the preservation of the Victorian urban park. The Saturday farmers market is open 8A - 12:30P and offers free outdoor yoga at 9am. I have an old…
One block away, the main reason we moved here. Always many things going on but large enough that you can escape on a walk/jog/bike excursion. The loop I jog is right at a 5K around the main paths of the park.
Tower Grove is a beautiful park for a walk with the family or a bike ride. There is often events going on in the park Spring-Fall. On the North side of the park there is a historical barn with the cutest Clydesdale and miniature horse worth visiting. 🐎
Super special historic park. Over 300 different species of trees and bushes. Wildlife haven.
Tower Grove Park is located very close and it’s a nice, smaller park to just stroll through, if you like to go for outdoor runs/walks, and usually always a good way to meet people.
This is a great park for a walk, jog, bike ride or picnic. It's a historic park peppered with turn of the century pavilions. A beautiful green oasis in the middle of the neighborhood. Lots of events happen here, food truck friday, a saturday am farmers market, concerts, free yoga....
A couple of miles from us, a great place to get a run in! Great for families too as there is a lot of open green space to play ball, tag, etc.
Tower Grove Park is a wonderful asset for the neighborhood. Many of the local residents will use the park for family events, softball games, fountain during the summer, and other activities.
One of the best parks in Saint Louis, designed to emulate an english walking park.

“Rooster is great for families. It gets wildly popular on weekends for brunch, but you can check into the wait list via Yelp. Known for creative crepes, but there's a nice selection of alternatives, such as the St. Louis slinger, biscuits and gravy and even a lunch menu. If you like a cocktail with your brunch, you'll be very pleased with the menu. For the savory fans, choose from several takes on the bloody mary - my favorite is the bloody bull, which is prepared with beef broth and a smoked salt & beef jerky rim. I like that you can choose a small or large, and the garnishes don't disappoint. Sweeter cocktails abound, such as my non-bloody favorite, the sunburnt white russian. ”
