Next to the parish church of San Marcos. The Parque del Drago, or Drago Park, is the main attraction of Icod de los Vinos. The famous "thousand-year-old Dragon" (although its age is officially 800 years) is one of the most important natural, cultural and historic symbols of the Canary Islnds. The Icod Dragon tree (Dracaena draco canariensis), considered the oldest specimen on the islands, is more than 16 metres tall and measures some 20 metres around the base.

An emblematic point of the island, few things last as long as this tree, which is more than a thousand years old. You can see it very well from St. Mark's Square and you don't have to pay the entrance fee although the entrance fee is only 5 euros and if you agree to pay the entrance fee you can also see a cave and enjoy the park.

The Drago Milenario is a must to visit here in the region. Its located near the old part of Icod los Vinos, which is itself a romantic place to walk through.
