This is unique. A short boat trip from Stavanger takes you to "Flor & Fjære". The stunning garden will take the breath from you, not only because it is insanely beautiful, but also because you'll see flowers, trees and plants that one would not suspect could live and thrive in Norway. After the mandatory tour of the garden you'll eat an unforgettable dinner in an atmosphere that makes the trip one to write home about. Seems unlikely? Check it out online! Flor & Fjære is a secret the locals cherish.

If you have the money, this unique, tropical island is worth a visit. It has beautiful gardens and landscapes, and you get a three course meal in their restaurant.

Flor & Fjære is a colorful and flowering park with palm trees and exotic plants. The unique park is located on the island Sør-Hidle in Ryfylke. A visit to Flor & Fjære begins with a beautiful fjord trip. The boat leaves from Strandkaien in Stavanger, and after about 30 minutes you can land in the sea of flowers on the small island in the Ryfylke basin. Here you will be welcomed by their guides, who are ready to show you the beauty of the gardens and share secrets and stories. A tour of the abundant park provides insight into 3 generations' passion for creating the world's most beautiful gardens. After a guided tour, dinner is served with a sea view. The chef presents the delicious and fresh menu with inspiration from around the world, but with a focus on local ingredients. After the meal you have about an hour to explore the gardens on your own before the boat returns to Stavanger. The season lasts from 14 May to 21 September, and is open Monday to Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. All visits must be arranged in advance or follow our regular departures. The boat departs from Skagenkaien in Stavanger. Feel free to stop by the booking office on Skagenkaien 35-37 with your questions about events or restaurant visits on the island.
