Lighthouse and grounds are very nice, lots of birding near by. Do not miss the Cape May Point area.
This is a great historical place to visit. the have great hiking trails with beautiful views of the light house. You can even climb the light house steps if you are daring :)
Nature trails, WWII bunkers, 99 steps up the lighthouse to grab an awesome view.
Climb the 99 steps (wear sneakers). 1859 vintage tower for breathtaking view of the Jersey Cape. Also WORLD WAR 2 look-out tower. Built to defend the Delaware River and Bay from enemy invasion.

“For the best value Italian Kitchen Express just down the street serves enormous portions and they deliver. Mia Mia's fine dining is a BYOB in walking distance and she serves excellent food. One of our favorite places in Cape May is Gecko's. Great presentation and moderately priced. There is also a lovely patio for outside dining. ”

“A living history village where you can walk through and visit a “working” General Store, school house, blacksmith, bakery, printer, and more, to experience the first years of American Independence. Open in summer only, but you are free to walk the grounds off season as well. There is also a brewery on the property which serves light fare and is open most of the year.”
