Highland paradise is situated in a sacred / tapu location and is an island night with a special personal connection for my family the Napa's. This is the location of my great, great, great grandfathers marae (he was chief tinomana napa of arorangi). You will enjoy a great island feast with dishes from an umu(earthen oven) and other polynesian dishes including raw fish in coconut cream and rukao which is meat wrapped in raro leaf. An authentic Cook Islands cultural experience. Traditional Maori dancing, singing, story telling and cuisine. Guided tours of the historic village are available. A must if you want to learn about pre-European Maori society.
