Music in the park in the summer. A quick 3 mile run around the lake is fun. Sailboats make this lake so pretty, I wouldn't recommend swimming in it.

Connected to Lake Calhoun. They have a Great Playground, Band Shell, and Ice Cream Shop.

Lake Harriet is 9 blocks to our west. You can ride bike or jog around the lack, rent paddle boards, go swimming, take your kids to the park, rent a canoe, watch live music at the bandshell, go to an outdoor movie after dark, get ice cream, or visit the gardens. In the winter it's great for snow shoeing or cross country skiing. The trails are not groomed so if that's a priority look into Theodore Wirth Park or Hyland Lake Park Reserve.
