WISE actually stands for Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England. The place started as a UK social club 50 years ago and morphed into a local music venue. The downstairs lounge has good drinks, games and regular music. Technically you're supposed to be a member but you can always find someone to sign you in (especially if you say you're from out of town and heard about the place's great reputation!) Upstairs has bands, a good ol' wooden dance floor and more beer & cocktails (are you sensing a theme?)

Check out their website to find out who is playing! Sometimes it will be local talent, or square dancing, or disco! You never know! It's a quick walk and cover is cheap!
