Located on the Appalachian Trail at the half way point. Known as "Home Of The Half Gallon Challenge" Great selection of hiker re supply. Hot grill open daily for breakfast/lunch " NAMED THE BEST BURGER ON THE TRAIL 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 "

Great state park right down the road. Part of Michaux State Forest, the park features a camp store (ice cream stop!), historic iron masters mansion, Appalachian Trail Museum, swimming beach, lake, and plenty of trails.
