Nationally known races like the savage gulf marathon and the rim to rim trail run can be easily accessed from the Gipson House.

Savage Gulf lives up to its name, and is an incredible time transport back into the past, before the settlers came to Tennessee. Wild, wooded and wonderful.

Fabulous Views and hiking! You can either walk the short paved trail to the overlook or go down into the gulf and spend all day hiking.
