Der Nationalpark Krka umfasst den größten Teil des Verlaufes des Flusses Krka und verläuft von der Stadt Kni bis nach Skradin. Um den Nationalpark zu besichtigen, solltet ihr ein bis zwei Tage Zeit einplanen. In dem Park gibt es zahlreiche gut ausgebaute Spazier- und Wanderwege, die euch zu den schönsten Aussichtspunkten bringen.Überall verteilt werdet ihr auf Wasserfälle treffen, die einen förmlich dazu antreiben, ins Wasser zu springen (erlaubt ist dies aber nur am Skradinski Buk). Auf der kleinen Insel Visovac auf dem gleichnamigen See steht heute immer noch das im Jahre 1445 gebaute Franziskanerkloster, welches eine kleine Kunstsammlung beherbergt. Das Highlight des Nationalparks Krka ist ungeschlagen der Skradinski Buk. Als längster Wasserfall fließt das Wasser über 17 Stufen hinab in ein seichtes Becken, in dem ihr sogar baden dürft (einzige Badestelle im Park). Vielleicht entdeckt ihr mit etwas Glück ja auch eine Landschildkröte?

the best way to see the park is definitely by going to the entrance of Skradin. Skradin is a really nice and small old town, and you can find some really good restaurants there. They have some of the best delicacies that you won’t easily forget. The Krka river, the Adriatic sea, mountains, all of this somehow influences one of the best menu cards and amazing cooking skills.
