This is a traditional hacienda setting off the main area and is a must try if you love good food and entertainment during your dinner. They have local musician playing for you in a great setting. The Coconut shrimp is their speciality and you will not leave this place hungry.

Even if the food wasn’t so tasty, we might still send you to Casa Mission, just for the atmosphere. While most Cozumel restaurants are decidedly low-key, recalling a bygone era, the outdoor dining area at Casa Mission may just transport you to another era entirely. This place used to be a mission and the current owner and extended family still live on the premises.The atmosphere is fun and the hacienda had a romantic quality to it that draws you into to the past while dining on great food. To start they prepare the best guacamole at your table. Very fresh ingredients and flavorful. Try the coconut shrimp – sweet, firm and very fresh. They have a talented mariachi band that plays here too.

You can book at reservation with Opentable app. Reservations for big groups are recommended. A secret is they have 2 menus. Many of the same items are lower priced on the Parrilla Mission menu. The Parrilla was a taqueria that closed. It was my go to place the first and last night I was on the island. They also generally have a couple Mariachi groups. Limited parking so take a taxi.

79 peso for lunch and dinner if you dine before 6:00 pm. Breakfast is good too and the garden is very nice. A tradition here on the island.
