Emerson Park is a great way to be on the water, have a picnic or take in some broadway quality musical theatre (May-October). You find kayak and paddleboard rentals in season and lovely seawall to take a stroll on. There is a $2 parking fee in the summer so stash some cash in those pockets.

The pier is gorgeous to walk down. There are plenty of picnic spots. It is also home to the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse that puts on plays seasonally. They have a variety of shows, including Broadway shows at select times.

Though it is technically a park there is also a famous merry-go-round located at the Playhouse. There is also a beach at Owasco Lake Inlet

Just minutes away by car this park sits at the top of Owasco Lake and has swimming, kayak/paddle board rental, playground, walking path, picnic areas, and a dog park. There is a small fee to park in the summer.
