Charlotte has lots of farmers markets, but this unique indoor venue merges the energy of fresh produce stalls with the convenience of a central Uptown location. It celebrates the diverse regional food cultures of the Carolinas and helps support food artisans, all while selling frankly incredible food.

Although 7th Street Public Market is just that (a market), it’s one of the best-kept secrets for food in Charlotte. It features vendors from celebrated sushi, pizza, crepes, and coffee purveyors in the city -- easily making it a one-stop culinary destination. Pro-tip: head to the market on a Thursday night for the Raclette Night where the purveyors at Orrman’s Cheese fire a wheel of semi-hard cheese under a broiler and scrape the cheese onto your plate of meat, bread and pickles.

Indoor market along the light rail. It has everything from cheese shops, to bakeries, coffee shop, and beer on tap. Something for everyone. Park in the garage and get your ticket validated for 90 mins, or take the light rail in and get off at 7th street.

I love this place! It's a food hall with some of Charlotte's best coffee (NJC coffee), cheese (Orman's), food (Local Loaf), pizza (Pure Pizza), craft beer (Tank's Tap) to name a few. Great for breakfast and lunch. From here you can also hop on the light rail and explore other areas of Charlotte such as SouthEnd and NoDa, both have amazing breweries, restaurants, galleries, etc.

Has an interesting mix of restaurants as well as some local shopping (includes a wine/cheese, butcher, and some more general products)
