Pnyka was the meeting place of all Athenians gathering to hold their assemblies, vote and speak their mind. Hence, it became one of the most important symbols of democracy. Pnyka , a traditional bakery since 1981. Its owner was once invited by Harvard to teach how to make bread. His son now owns the place still using the old way of stone mill wheat grinding. Recently they've also opened a bakery in Vienna and they've become very famous already!
