“This beautifully renovated space resembles a glamorous cafe from the mid 20th century. A largely sophisticated gay crowd frequents Café Lusitano, although all are welcome. On week nights, the mood is relaxed, perfect for sipping a wine, cocktail, coffee or juice. A wide range of popular and eclectic music keeps the bar interesting. On weekends, the party gets louder and wilder. Dancing is a prerequisite with resident and guest DJs playing international dance beats.”

“Actually it's was probably the first store in Porto to combine different departments. Back in the century it was the place to go shopping, whether if it was clothes, shoes or house equipments. Nowadays, it's the place to go if you're looking for quality and personal shopping experience. Also, have a look at the rooftop restaurant. Breathtaking!!”

“The Oporto School of Architecture is located in a kind of terrace, over a cliff, overlooking the river Douro, having in-between a road with much traffic. The architecture of Álvaro Siza plays constantly with this contextual space, and interacts with it, placing ahead of the road four kind of “towers” that protect the building as a whole, but separated from each other not to hide the scenery and allowing the building to breathe. One of his remarkable works!”
