Im Europa-Parlament in Straßburg finden die meisten Plenarsitzungen statt. Wenn keine Sitzung stattfindet, kann man das Parlament besuchen. Zweimal jährlich findet der Tag der offenen Tür statt und ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Ob mit oder ohne Führung kann man hier einen Teil der europäischen Politik hautnah erleben.

Construction of the glass, metal and wood building was completed in 1999. Groups without a booking and individual visitors are welcome during the opening hours that you can find on their website. Visits are with multimedia guides, available in 24 languages. At busy times multimedia guides may not be available. If this happens then staff members will be on hand to answer questions and speak about the European Parliament in English, French and German. In APRIL, JULY, AUGUST and DECEMBER: visits for groups and individuals with multimedia guides only.
