Head to Dow's Lake for canoe & kayak rentals during the spring to fall months. You can also start your skating journey here in the winter or simply watch boats go by and have a nice picnic by the water! This is also a favourite spot for the Canadian Tulip Festival during the month of May.

Walk down Preston street to Dow’s Lake. If weather permitting it’s a beautiful place to rent a peddle boat or bike along the canal!

Tulip festival, kayak/canoe rentals, winter skating & beavertails. One of the best places to hangout in Ottawa. Grab a bite along Preston St at one of the many restaurants in Little Italy.

Dow's Lake is a small man-made lake on the Rideau Canal, situated two kilometres north of Hog's Back Falls in the middle of Ottawa.
