Gas in Canmore is often overpriced. A quick 6 minute trip towards Calgary (or drop in on your way) gets you to Deadmans Flats where gas is often 10c cheaper. If you do have to buy in Canmore, go to Fas Gas or the big chains on the exit to Banff. Avoid the Esso on Railway Ave, their pricing is extortionate!
