10 minute walk downhill to a big park with a pond, tennis courts, farmer's market, events, cafe etc.

Not quite Central Park, but designed by the same architect, Olmsted. A great place to eat a Holy Donut from across the street. And a great water play area for the little ones.

Great for summer farmer's market, walking pets, and ice skating in winter. Sports courts and playground as well!

The Portland Farmers' Market takes place every Saturday in Deering Oaks Park. It is always worth a trip.
