A visit to what once was a thriving village, that got destroyed by hot ash from the 2010 eruption of Mt. Merapi. You can rent Jeeps and be driven up to Kaliadem to sightsee the beautiful nature life of Mt. Merapi.

great view of Merapi volcano, and the bunker that has sad memory of the people that died inside due to Merapi eruption. better to take a jeep tour to get here.
