The lighthouse was first lit in 1864, to ensure the safe anchorage of the large number of vessels which enter the bay. At the lighthouse historic objects of interest are on display and curios are available. Stunning views!

The Cape St. Blaize Cave is an important archaeological site, and a popular point for whale and dolphin watching. It is situated in the cliffs below the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse.
