This museum is by far my favorite art museum in Denver. It is a small but well-curated museum about the American Abstract Expressionist Clyfford Still. The museum moves chronologically through his work and shows you how his style developed from representational to abstract. The large scale abstract paintings awe-inspiring with their gorgeous shapes and colors and fill your vision.

An entire museum dedicated to a singular artist, Abstract Expressionist Clyfford Still. It's amazing to be immersed in the artwork of Still and the building itself is an architectural marvel. Another bonus is that it won't take you all day to see this gem. It's conveniently located adjacent to the Denver Art Museum and Kirkland Museum of Decorative Arts.
