Castellum Hoge Woerd is a striking, contemporary reconstruction of a Roman fortress. There is a museum and a restaurant/cafe. On the back there is a fun part for kids, where they can see different animals, enjoy the garden, play in the playground.

This is where the Romans had their fort. Also it is the last resting place for the Roman ship found here in Leidsche Rijn.

Interesting place that combines art, culture, theater, play farm and a museum in one. This is where you can see a huge roman boat that was discovered locally and restored.
