Take a drive up our local mountains. Some of our favorite hikes include Aspen Vista (longer and steep), Bear Wallow (nice circuitous loop near a creek) , and Chamisa Trail (short and sweet) Just remember, the altitude at the top is 10,000 feet. If you're coming from an area closer to sea level, it will be more challenging.

If you're in Santa Fe during when the Aspen trees change colors (usually right around the first week of October) this is a must walk... not difficult, not long... stunning views.

If you crave a nature moment with crisp, clean mountain air, drive up Hyde park road towards the Santa Fe ski basin….find a place to park and explore!
