The church tower placed in the dunes tells the story of Skagen. The city was fighting the drifting sands for years and the town had to be moved. Sct. Laurentii Church as abandoned and only the spire remains... in nature.. incredible.

Den tilsandede kirke eller Sankt Laurentii Kirke ligger ca. fire kilometer sydvest for Skagens centrum, i plantage-området øst for hovedvejen. Kirken blev sandsynligvis opført i slutningen af 1300-tallet.

Meget hyggeligt område at gå tur i og en sjov historie. Besøg også Flagbakken, der ligger tæt ved.
