A charming old bookstore on Long Street, family-owned and established in 1956. Clarke's stocks books new, old and out of print books on Southern Africa and a variety of second hand books.

A Cape Town institution -- has been there for decades and the best possible place to find books on South Africa or by South Africans. Also a very good selection of art books and catalogues. Just down the road from the flat.
