Not many people know this place, located at the top of a Tallaght mountain, with a gorgeous view of the Dublin city and a very mysterious past. Visiting at night is for thrill seekers! 👻

The Hell Fire Club is only a 5 min drive from us, or for the more energetic about an hours walk. It is a steep walk up to the top from the carpark, but definitively worth it for the view. 1hr walk from us.

Montpelier Hill, better known as The Hellfire Club to Dubliners, is a lovely place for a weekend walk. It has a variety of short forest trails and provides wonderful views of the city from the south-west. On the weekends you can find it busy with urbanites escaping the city and dogs running free. At the top sits a large hunting lodge where, if the stories are to be believed, some very strange things have happened.

Most tourists won't know this place, but if you have a car, head up and take in the old creepy house and the views of Dublin. Massey's forest is just across the road, great for a walk.

Great views of the city, sunset/sunrise if open skies. 5 min drive.
